Packing List
Only bring essentials and clothing. As a general rule, please make sure your boy has plenty of socks/shoes to change into. The boys will always find a way to get wet and muddy. Extra hats and gloves are also recommended.
Pack everything in a duffel or backpack. DO NOT bring toys or electronic devices. There will be plenty of activities to keep you busy!
Clothing: Dress in layers
- Boots. It’s very important that your feet stay dry. Expect rain.
- Socks, Underwear, Pants, shirts, Sweatshirts, Jacket, Rain coat or Poncho
- Cub Scout uniform shirt to be worn on Saturday evening.
Bedding:
- Sleeping bag or three blankets, pillow, fitted sheet to put on the mattress in the cabins.
Please bring a tent if you have one, there will be limited room in the cabins, and Lions & Tigers get first choice of cabin space.
Personal Items:
- Flashlight
- If you have your Wittlin’ Chit, you are allowed to bring a pocket knife.
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
Mess kit: There will be no paper plates, plastic utensils or Styrofoam cups available at the campout. Adults must have a mess kit as well as the boys.
- Water Bottle
- Plate/Bowl
- Cup
- Utensils
- Mesh Bag big enough to hold all of your mess kit
Administrative:
- Completed Health form (for anyone staying at the camp overnight including adults). Health forms must have a copy of your insurance card included.
Your Den Leader may ask you to bring additional items. Be sure to check with them before leaving for camp.
